Biography of Richard E. Marshall
Richard E. Marshall graduated from Yale University School of Medicine in 1962. Following his internship and research in developmental biology at the National Institutes of Health, he trained in paediatrics from 1967 at the University of Washington. Four years later he became director of the neonatal unit in the Department of Pediatrics at the St. Louis Children's Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri. After leaving St. Louis in 1986 he has held professorships of neonatology at the Cleveland Metropolitan Hospital, Michigan State University and at the medical school, New Jersey. By spring 2001 he lives in Havre De Grace, Maryland.
