Biography of Greenfield Sluder
Greenfield Sluder studied at St. Louis and Washington University, where he obtained his doctorate in 1888. He received further education at Vienna, Berlin, and London. 1891-1896 instructor of clinical medicine, 1896-1906 lecturer of laryngology at his alma mater, and from 1906 worked as clinical professor and head of the department of laryngology and rhinology at Washington University Medical School.
Sluder died from an infection in 1927. He wrote nearly seventy papers and two books.
