Biography of Adolf Jarisch, Junior
Adolf Jarisch was the son of the dermatologist Adolf Jarisch (1850-1902). He studied in Graz and worked for six years by Otto Loewi (1873-1961). He headed the pharmacological institute of the University of Innsbruck from 1924 to 1945.
His main field of work was on the circulation of the blood. He undertook the definite research on and the experimental demonstration of the circulatory effect discovered by the German physiologist Albert von Bezold (1836-1868).
