Biography of Conrad Milton Riley
Conrad Milton Riley graduated from Yale College in 1934 and qualified in medicine at Harvard in 1938. After serving in the US Naval Reserve from 1942 to 1946, he worked at the Babies Hospital in New York City and joined the department of paediatrics at Columbia University. In 1960 he moved to the department of paediatrics of the Colorado University School of Medicine, Denver, where he was chairman of the department of preventive medicine from 1961 until 1966. Riley’s main research interest was in nephrology.
