Biography of Charles Warren Duval
Charles Warren Duval obtained his medical doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania in 1903. He became 1. assistant for pathology at Boston City Hospital in 1905, and from 1906 lecturer in pathology at Mc Gill University in Quebec. From 1908 he was director of the department of pathology at Montreal General Hospital. In 1909 he took over the chair of pathology and bacteriology at Tulane University, New Orleans. Besides this he also worked as director of the pathological laboratory at the Charity and Presbyterian hospitals.
