Biography of Robert L. Kaufman
Robert L. Kaufman received his medical qualification from the Washington University, Missouri, in 1963. Following graduation he trained in internal medicine at the Vanderbilt University Hospital, and for two years was an associate at the National Institute of Arthritis and Metabolic Diseases, National Institutes of Health, Bethesda, Maryland. In 1968 he became chief resident at the Washington University Medical Center, and two years later he obtained a doctorate from the genetics clinic at St. Louis Children's Hospital.
