George Kenneth Mallory

George Kenneth Mallory was the son of Frank Burr Mallory (1862-1921) for whom Mallory’s bodies are named. He received his medical degree from Harvard Medical School in 1926.

During his entire career Mallory was a pathologist at the Boston City Hospital. In 1948 he was appointed professor at the Boston Medical School and in 1966 became professor emeritus.

Mallory worked for a long time at the Mallory Institute of Pathology, an institution founded by his father. Besides, Kenneth Mallory was a busy lecturer at the Boston University School and at the Harvard Medical School. His chief interest was in the diseases of the liver and the kidneys.
