Chiari-Frommel syndrome

One of three eponymic amenorrhea-galactorrhea syndromes, the others being Ahumada-Del Castillo syndrome and Forbes-Albright syndrome. Involution of the uterus following prolonged lactation. Persistent lactation, amenorrhoea and atrophy of the uterus and ovaries - lasting months or even years - following childbirth. It is due to the continued secretion of prolactin and decreased gonadotropin production. A pituitary adenoma may or may not be present. Symptoms are subjective pain in trunk, back, and head; often mental depression.
