Mallory's bodies II
Related people
Acidophilic hyaline bodies that manifest as accumulation of changed filaments - degeneration products - in the plasma of the liver cells. Usually seen in alcoholics - with or without cirrhosis - but they may also seen in patients with Wilson’s disease, in prolonged cholestasis (e.g. primary biliary cirrhosis) and in Zieve’s syndrome.
