Tenodynia, tendinitis osssificans, and bursitis in the region of the Achilles tendon, resulting from lesions of the calcaneous at its junction with the achilles tendon. This syndrome results from the type of footwear worn in certain sports, such as golf and hockey, and also may be seen in women who wear high-heeled shoes (pump bump).
